Plambeck ContraCon Leipzig GmbH

Plambeck ContraCon Bau und Umwelttechnik GmbH Leipzig (PCL) was founded in 1991 as a subsidiary of Plambeck Holding and was sold in 2016 as part of a restructuring of the investment management. With a highly motivated and well-trained workforce, PCL has made a name for itself in construction, demolition and contaminated site remediation services throughout Germany and other European countries.

PCL has a site in Böhlen, near Leipzig, where around 200,000 tons of contaminated soil and waste can be accepted, treated, recycled or professionally disposed of. The site was inaugurated in 1995 by the then Federal Minister for the Environment, Dr. Angela Merkel.

In the construction service sector, PCL offers comprehensive dismantling and recycling solutions and civil engineering services. Specialists in the fields of civil engineering, road construction, demolition and remediation develop customized concepts for each individual case. The company has many years of experience in the demolition of contaminated buildings and in the recycling of building materials.

The company has been active in the field of remediation and environmental technology since the 1990s, making it one of the first companies to do so. Through the use of various remediation techniques, it has gained extensive experience in dealing with a wide range of damage cases and has several patented processes for the treatment of contaminated soils.
