The wind power developer, which today operates under the name PNE AG, was founded in 1995 by Plambeck Holding and listed on the German stock exchange in Frankfurt in 1998 as Plambeck Neue Energien AG. The previously wholly-owned subsidiary of Plambeck Holding has been involved in the development of wind farms since 1995. To this day, the company is an internationally successful and experienced developer. More than 2300 MW onshore and 2100 MW offshore have been developed and successfully realized to date. Offshore, more than 2800 MW are currently under development. In the meantime, Plambeck Holding has sold all of its shares in PNE AG.
