The SSP Technology A/S was founded in 2001 in cooperation between Flemming Sørensen, Rune Schytt-Nielsen and Norbert Plambeck.

SSP is specialized in the design, development and optimization of rotor blades for wind turbines with appropriate focus on aerodynamics, consistent product quality, long life, light weight and high stability.

To date, blade concepts and moulds for the manufacture of blades from around just 13 m up to more than 80 m in length have been successfully realised.

As one of the first developers, SSP also addressed the issue of components and is as a result now able to supply two proven core components; the “load carrying spar” and “root solution”.

Plambeck Holding is no longer directly involved in SSP, yet there is still a close connection and good cooperation.
